Across the South East, our teams have been hard at work completing a programme of high-priority, survey-led tree maintenance—essential for keeping industrial estates safe, accessible, and compliant with duty-of-care obligations. With large commercial sites relying on unrestricted vehicle movement and minimal downtime, proactive tree management remains one of the most effective ways to safeguard people, property, and daily operations.

Responding to Survey-Identified Risks

Recent comprehensive tree surveys across multiple estates highlighted a range of urgent actions required to reduce risk. Our arboricultural teams mobilised quickly, addressing the issues with efficiency and precision. By basing all works on professional survey data, we ensure that every intervention is targeted, necessary, and aligned with industry best practices.

Deadwood Removal & Broken Limb Management

Dead, damaged, or unstable limbs present significant risks in busy commercial environments. Whether overhanging walkways, access roads, loading bays, or parking areas, failing branches can cause injury, disrupt operations, and result in costly damage.

Our teams have been removing hazardous deadwood and fractured limbs to improve safety and support the long-term health of the trees.

Crown Raising to Maintain Clear Vehicle Access

Industrial estates rely on clear access for HGVs, service vehicles, emergency responders, and daily traffic. Over time, low-hanging branches can obstruct sightlines and clearance heights, creating avoidable hazards.

To ensure safe and efficient movement across the sites, we have been carrying out crown raising operations—lifting canopies to appropriate heights while preserving tree structure and stability.

Cutting Back Rubbing & Close-Proximity Limbs

In addition to clearance works, we have been cutting back limbs that were rubbing against each other or growing too close to buildings. These issues can lead to structural damage to property, potential branch failure, and long-term decline in tree health.

By selectively reducing these limbs, we help prevent damage to roofs, cladding, and gutters while promoting healthier tree growth and reducing future maintenance needs.

Delivering Work Safely, Efficiently & With Minimal Disruption

All work has been completed in strict compliance with health and safety standards, ensuring minimal disruption to businesses operating on site. Our teams maintain clear communication with estate managers throughout each project, coordinating schedules around peak operational periods to keep everything running smoothly.

A Proactive Approach to Estate Management

Tree maintenance is not just a reactive task—it’s a long-term commitment to site safety, asset protection, and compliance. Regular, survey-led inspections combined with timely interventions help reduce risk, support operational efficiency, and prevent emergency call-outs.
