Introducing Our New Cela DT25 MEWP: Added Features, Added Safety

This summer we traded in our old Cela for the latest Cela DT25 MEWP, continuing our commitment to tackling dangerous trees without putting our team at unnecessary risk. Safety and efficiency remain at the heart of everything we do, and this new machine brings both to the next level.

One of the standout upgrades on the new model is the removable basket and lifting hook attachment. After detaching the basket, we can quickly fit the hook—capable of lifting up to 230 kg. This feature has already proven invaluable.

As shown in the photos, the site we were working on offered no safe drop zone to dismantle the tall conifers in the traditional way. Instead of forcing a risky situation or attempting to work from the roof, the lifting hook allowed us to extract sections cleanly and safely. This not only protected the property but kept our team securely on the ground or within a controlled platform environment.

The upgrade to the DT25 MEWP is another example of how investing in the right equipment helps us deliver high-quality work while prioritising the wellbeing of our staff and the safety of our clients’ properties.
